Watch out fellows. Something may be just about to change dramatically.

An old habit....

Higher reward is for the short trade but we cannot ignore the way they are pumping market up at critical situations like the ones  USA is going through now. VST battle is almost always won by bulls, until that character changes bears can only play defensive , like I do :P

Vix 22 call stands

Even if I am out of my options trade ( expired) for a considerable loss, the setup stands. They just extended it over time which killed my position but will reload as of todays close if they give us what I am looking for.

VIX 22 (open)

I expect it in 1 to 3 weeks time so I grabed some SPY Feb 13 142 puts at 0.54

Now we are talking...

SPX kinda showed us something interesting. Now this looks more like a "breakout". Plus ST pattern ( not shown here) and time says we are near. Confirmation should come tomorrow  as latest
Definition should be different than late August 2012 (straigth down after pullback)

3rd time is charm

A candy for pata- faders

Well, the setup and the level ( in red at first chart) I was looking for was overshot. I should have known they were going to break the range from 01-02 to 01-07 out before making their move, a fake breakout that is. But the thing is that they did that already and they also printed scary new highs at other majors. Even SPY  dividend corrected made highs (see second chart  below). The "shake out" phase should be over but something may still be missing before they  pull the rug. That is my take today and that is what pata-faders may be  interested in and use it as a funny but usually effective key to decide a trade (short in this case).

Here are some charts:
-SPY "too toppy to be a top" (bullish) .

-SPY "scary breakout" (dividend corrected) (bearish)

-Pata's oldy setup overshot (1) (bearish, WTF)

-Pata's oldy setup overshot (2)  (bearish , WTFF)

-And some music to warm up (or to cool down)

Enjoy :
